Can i retake the afast

You will be given a series of three views from a helicopter cockpit and must choose which cyclic orientation would cause a helicopter to move in that direction.

The fifth and final subtest is called the mechanical functions test. This evaluates your knowledge of basic physics via a wide variety of problems. Probably the best study book is Peterson's. Once you have passed you are not allowed to retake the test for a better score.

If you fail there is a six month wait for one, and only one, re-test opportunity. Email This BlogThis! Unknown February 3, at PM. Your underlying purpose of understanding the format of the SIFT test better is to avoid unexpected timing.

In fact, you should be able to encounter a wide array of questions in each section with strict time management. And you can only adhere to the time management when you are aware of the test format. For instance, one you make continuous-time management changes in different sections of the test, your preparation can fall apart.

For the most part, you should memorize the total questions in each section and the type of information you can expect. Sure, you may overlap or confuse the total number of items of one section with another. The test format of the SIFT is computer-adaptive. As a test-taker, you will receive the necessary scratch papers and pencils.

Furthermore, each section comes with its time limitation and the total number of items. Fortunately, five out of seven sections come with fixed total questions.

The last two sections, on the other hand, can have a different number of total questions. Again, understand that the number of items in the last two sections mathematical skills and mechanical comprehension is subject to change because they are adaptive. The computer system algorithm identifies your weaknesses and strengths and adjusts the format of the SIFT test on your personality.

A good tip would be to remember the total number of questions and time allocation in ascending order. The table below summarizes the format of the SIFT test. Also, the experience of the candidate offers better value proposition to Army Aviation recruiters. Test-takers can attempt the SIFT test just twice in their entire lifetime. Once you take the exam for the first time completely, you will have to wait days before applying and then retaking the test.

I got a on it. Don't get to worried about the test its not that bad. I was also curious to see how long you all studied for before you took the test. I don't remember the books i used but there was two of them.

I think it was the "ARCO" book and one other i used. There is another I've heard about but forget the name of that is horrible and provides wrong answers to sample questions. I believe it's black and yellow.

Just go with ARCO and you'll be fine. I got it at Barnes and Noble as well. The Arco book is great. I do not need it any longer and am willing to give it to you. I'm not feeling good about it and would like to know where I stand, and if it is even worth continuing on with my warrant packet.

I am currently scheduled to graduate college in Fall My major is BS in Mathematics with a 2. I have talked to a recruiter, but he was not very helpful. Will it even count if I turn in a packet sometime this fall? If anyone on here can tell me or has heard anything I would highly appreciate it. I don't know if its just me but I've been trying to get in touch with a recruiter for the last week with no luck.

So I figured I would just post my question on here. On form r in block 10 it ask for your 3 duty location choices. I have not spent much time around the Army, I have no clue what duty stations are available.
